My name is Elena Kolotusha, I am a contemporary realist artist.
I enjoy painting still lifes with natural objects like shells, stones, sea glass, feathers and also man-made things in very detailed and precise style. I explore shapes and patterns to discover an object’s personality, which I believe, reflects the relationship they have with people or their symbolic value. I love to put some mystery in my still lifes, so people could wonder, think or recall something.
My other passion – Equine and Animal portraiture.
I work mostly in oils, acrylics and color pencils. And recently I added scratchboard to my favorite mediums.
